Form & Flow: The Art of Engineering Abstraction

My work exists in the space between precision and abstraction. As an engineer, I think in clear structures and defined systems; as an artist, I deliberately step back from control, allowing new forms to emerge. Form and flow arise in the dynamic tension between control and freedom.

Under the concept of Engineering Abstraction, I explore the translation of physical dynamics into a sensory experience of movement, space, and flow. Inspired by spatial curves, roller coaster dynamics, and the structural principles of nature, I investigate how energy can become visible and tangible.

The exhibition brings together several interconnected series of works: intertwined Möbius sculptures carved from soapstone, experimental 3D-printed sphere studies and their two-dimensional transformations in mixed media, as well as freely developed, vividly colored acrylic paintings.

All of these works are guided by the same central question:

How can precise construction dissolve into a free and living form?

For me, the Nymphenburg Palace Park is a place of both movement and reflection. As a regular running route, it shapes not only my rhythm but also my perception of space. The juxtaposition of my works with the historic architecture of the Geranienhaus is conceived as a deliberate field of tension—both a provocation and an invitation to view opposites not as contradictions, but as opportunities for expansion and new perspectives.
